As every Friday passes, there are numerous songs that come out from independent country artists whose songs are well-written, beautiful, or simply fun. We’ve compiled a list of songs that were released last week by independent and rising acts that deserve much love and attention. Who knows, you might find your next favorite song.
1. "Made Her That Way" by Muscadine Bloodline
The duo from Alabama has released yet another hit. The lyrics are about realizing that your own poor choices and bad behavior are why a relationship came to an end. When the person you love has become hardened to you, you're the first one to blame. It's an interesting perspective that makes for a great country song.
2. "Straight and Narrow" by Sam Barber
This new song from Barber can stir up plenty of emotion after just one listen. It's an acoustic track that allows Barber to hone in on his vocals. This is the kind of country song that reminds people why they love the storytelling aspect of music. Barber is bound to create even more songs that are authentic as he is.
3. "Burning Bridges" by Wyatt Flores
Flores released the studio version of a song that he has previously teased. This song comes at a perfect time for the winter months. Flores belts from his heart as he sings about the power of leaving. The aspect of leaving can bring about strong emotions. The young singer finds a way to capture the hurt and longing in a fiery way.
