Alan Jackson to Receive the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2022 CMAs

Country star Alan Jackson is set to receive the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 56th Annual CMA Awards. Jackson will receive the honor at the ceremony being held Wednesday, November 9th at Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville.

Country artists Dierks Bentley, Jon Pardi, Carrie Underwood, and Lainey Wilson are slated to take the stage and perform a tribute to the chart-topping hitmaker during the event.

“We are thrilled to honor Alan Jackson this year with the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award,” says Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer in a press release. “A three-time CMA Entertainer of the Year, he is responsible for so many iconic moments in CMA Awards history. Just as Alan has been influenced by many Country legends throughout his career, he too has inspired a generation of artists to stay true to the authenticity of Country Music."

Previous recipients of the highly coveted CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award include Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Kris Kristofferson, Charley Pride, and Loretta Lynn.
