Bailey Zimmerman "Fix'n To Break" Song Review

Bailey Zimmerman proves to be a gift that keeps on giving. Once again, he's released a song he had previously teased on social media.

Zimmerman has been keeping busy since his debut EP arrived last October. It was announced that Zimmerman will be joining Morgan Wallen on his 'One Night At A Time Tour.' He has also performed on Good Morning America and made his Grand Ole Opry debut. "Get To Gettin' Gone" was the last time Zimmerman released a new song, which was only in December. He is certainly an artist who thrives to be unpredictable.

"Fix'n To Break" appears to expand his already established signature sound: angsty and honest. It begins with a chorus of echo sounds that can draw anyone in. This is a ballad about how one's heart can lead in many directions. Zimmerman sings from the perspective of wondering where his partner truly stands. Do they make up after a fight just for it to fall apart later on? Seems like time will tell.

"Tell me somethin' / What's been on your mind / Are you thinkin' bout runnin / 'Cause I'm sittin' here losin' mine," sings Zimmerman. The singer-songwriter is known for his tracks about heartbreak and searching for answers. It's clear how this new song stands out from the others. It's raw while being melodic, making it a song that can help anyone out there with a similar issue.
