Bailey Zimmerman has done it again. After releasing plenty of music in 2022, the singer has given fans another song to fall in love with. "Get To Gettin' Gone" is bound to become a favorite among the listeners who love him the most.
The Illinois native has become one of country music's biggest breakout stars. With singles like "Rock And A Hard Place," and "Fall In Love," he has cemented himself in the hearts and minds of many. Leave The Light On, Zimmerman's debut EP was released in October of this year and broke records. Zimmerman is also on track to tour with Morgan Wallen for the 'One Night At A Time Tour' in 2023. It's safe to say the singer-songwriter is only getting started.
"Get To Gettin' Gone" is similar to his past discography due to its attitude towards love. The song is about realizing when to get out of a relationship. Zimmerman is able to sing from his more youthful perspective when it comes to matters of the heart. Gripping lyrics that are only enhanced by his vocals always captivate his fans.

This song has a melodic tone that is easy to sing along to. Zimmerman is able to use his vocal inflections to his advantage to create the mood of the track as he exclaims, "So I get to gettin' gone / Get on my no look back, yeah / And like an old song fadin' off in the radio static / We had it good / Ain't no good time for goodbye." Like with all of his releases, he speaks to the hard feelings that always come when love doesn't stay the course.
