Best Country Music Bars in Georgia

These are our top picks for the best country and bluegrass music bars in Georgia. Next time you head down to the Peach State, make sure to check ‘em out.

1. Saddlebags Savannah

Saddle up to Saddlebags Savannah for a good time guaranteed. Located in (you guessed it) Savannah, this place is open from 1 p.m. to 3 a.m. You can eat tacos (provided by Orale Taco Express) and learn how to line dance (at 7 p.m. on Thursdays), all while getting to know some of the live performers on the country scene like Southerland at Saddlebags and Tyler Hammond.

2. PBR Atlanta

This Atlanta joint’s press statement says, “From the toughest sport on dirt, comes Atlanta’s most stunning country bar; PBR Atlanta. Buckle up for line dancing, cold beer, hard drinks, and a little bull ridin’. Let PBR Atlanta bring out the Cowboy or Cowgirl spirit in you!” Enough said. PBR Atlanta is located at the Battery and holds regular live music and dancing events.

3. Red Light Cafe

Red Light Cafe is one of Atlanta's best venues for Americana, bluegrass, country & western, folk, flues, jazz, roots rock, and everything in between — including some of the best Comedy Shows and Burlesque in the Southeast! Located on the east side of Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta's Amsterdam Walk, Red Light Café is a local favorite, with tables and seating for over 100 people to enjoy live shows with a full bar and kitchen.

4. Dixie Tavern

Come to Dixie Tavern and enjoy listening to some of the best local bands in Atlanta. With great food, a large patio, and twenty beers on tap, this is a perfect pit stop during a fun night out on the town.

I loved reading about Saddlebags Savannah—line dancing on Thursdays while eating tacos sounds like a perfect night out! And PBR Atlanta with actual bull riding? That’s a whole different level of fun. By the way, I keep a free planning and optimization tool I like to share: https://homecafelab.com/

Loved this Georgia country bar roundup — spots like Saddlebags and PBR Atlanta sound perfect for a night of live music, dancing, and cold drinks. I’ve also been using Kokoro Web, a free in-browser text-to-speech tool that turns English text into natural speech privately on your device, which is handy for listening to guides like this on the go.

Got fooled by an AI-generated image today.

Thought it was a real photo.

Made me curious how often that happens now.

I've been comparing real voice recordings with AI-generated ones over the past few weeks.

Honestly, some of them are nearly impossible to distinguish without looking more closely at the audio patterns.

I put together a small tool while experimenting with this:

Would be interested to know how often people can correctly guess whether a clip is human or AI.

Water bills have gotten ridiculous where I live, so I've been looking into drought-tolerant lawn options lately.

This site has some helpful breakdowns of grass types for dry climates:

Worth a look if you're trying to use less water but still keep a decent lawn.
