Brett Eldredge Opens 2023 'Glow Live Tour' at the Ryman

Not only is “Mr. Christmas” the name of Brett Eldredge’s second holiday album, but it has quickly become his nickname. What started off as a small show that he put on with friends, Eldredge has been sharing his love of Christmas music throughout the years with his annual Glow Tour. It’s a show that only gets bigger with time, such as selling out three nights at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN this year.

Also known for being effortlessly classy, Eldredge dressed every bit of the part. With a navy velvet tux jacket, he and the stage felt like the epitome of Christmas. A massive Christmas tree stood behind him, along with the most magical lights and decorations. When he wasn’t crooning a classic Christmas tune, he shared memories of what made him love Christmas, along with funny stories that allowed him to connect with the audience.

Along with his original song, “Glow," Eldredge sang many classic Christmas songs that we all know and love. Some of those included “Walking In A Winter Wonderland”, “The Christmas Song”, and many more. Somehow, he’s managed to make songs that have been heard hundreds of times just as magical as the first time heard. It’s evident in his smile and the passion in his voice when telling stories in between each song that he truly loves doing this show. Although this was a legendary place to be putting on this show, it still felt incredibly intimate.

To wrap up the evening, Eldredge performed one of his favorites, “The First Noel." He asked the crowd to go completely silent and stepped away from the mic. The band went completely silent as well and Eldredge sang to the crowd acapella. One could feel the magic in the air and the excitement amongst the group. This was the best way to end the night, as he effortlessly filled the entire auditorium with his powerful vocals. If there’s one way to kick off the holiday season, this show is the way to do it.
