Talented singer-songwriter Brian Goyette has released his brand new single, "10 On Tennessee." For a debut single as a rising artist in Nashville, Goyette is sure to stand out.
Goyette hails from the great state of Wisconsin. From a young age, he had a strong passion for music. Now that Goyette has relocated to the heart of Music City, he can further pursue his dreams. This new single is his debut song as a resident of Nashville. Whether he is performing at a writer's round or entertaining a live crowd, Goyette is determined to bring his authentic style to the forefront.
When asked about the inspiration for the song, Goyette shared, “My co-writers, James Ervin and Jake Gain, and I did not grow up as Tennessee football fans, so we decided to write the story from that perspective. Our song tells the story of a girl, who is a diehard Volunteers fan, and makes us take a chance on love and on the team.” As Morgan Wallen, Megan Moroney, and Conner Smith have released songs inspired by the Vols, Goyette aims to do the same.

"10 On Tennessee" exudes the nostalgic country music sounds Goyette grew up listening to in the early 2000s. As someone who is not a Tennessee native, this clever track works in his favor. "Now I got 10 on Tennessee / Thanks to that pretty girl next to me." The melody carries the story throughout the track, making this a very easy listen. He has a type of entrancing voice that can draw anyone in, even non-Tennessee fans.
