Conner Smith "Orange And White" Song Review

Conner Smith might be one of the brightest rising stars coming out of Nashville. With "Orange And White," he continues to build excitement for what is on the horizon.

Smith's debut EP Didn't Go Too Far arrived this past January to rave reviews. He's currently on Thomas Rhett's 'Bring The Bar To You Tour' and wowing crowds with his charisma. The 21-year-old gives a fresh new perspective on today's country scene . His youth and passion for songwriting come across in every song he releases.

"Orange And White" comes just in time for football season. Always a proud Tennessean, Smith puts his love for the Vols on full display with this song. The song includes falling for a Georgia girl who roots for the Dawgs, a classic problem.

"A girl like you winding up with a boy like me / 'Bout as crazy as the hail Mary back in '16 / She laughed, said 'I knew you'd bring that up," sings a conflicted Smith. The singer has often referenced his love for college football in his music including in his first breakout hit "I Hate Alabama." Country fans can plan to have this release play at all the upcoming tailgates.
