Conner Smith "Summer On Your Lips" Song Review
Conner Smith proves once again he is an artist to watch out for. The singer released a new single titled "Summer On Your Lips" just in time for summer.
The "I Hate Alabama"singer has had a wild 2022 so far. His debut EP Didn't Go Too Far released is January, Ryan Hurd invited him on tour, and he is set to go on the road with Thomas Rhett and Parker McCollum this summer and fall. Smith also made his Grand Ole Opry debut over Memorial Day Weekend. After performing at his first CMA Fest, Smith announced this new single for fans to listen to.

"Summer On Your Lips" represents Smith's style with its casual sound and contemporary lyrics. A songwriter at heart, Smith will always write about what he knows. Young love is often a theme of his writing, and this track is no exception. "Braid in your hair, and a cross around your neck, we were saying things, didn't know what they meant, heaven in the windshield, heaven in your kiss, fire burning in your eyes, and summer on your lips."
"This song is made for the summer, if y'all got a summer country playlist, this is what that one's for," Smith shared on his Instagram. A song about being young and in love in the summertime is timeless, just like this track.
