Country music icons Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks are uniting to host the Academy of Country Music Awards which will take place on Thursday, May 11th from Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas.
This will be Brooks' first time hosting an award show in his career and Parton's second time hosting "Country Music's Party of the Year" after she hosted last year's event alongside Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett.
“I am thrilled to return to host the ACM Awards, this time with my friend Garth,” said Parton in a press release. “While I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with him throughout the years, I can’t believe we’ve never had the chance to work together. In addition to getting to see all this great new talent in country music, I am excited to have the chance to premiere the lead single from my upcoming rock album on the show!”
The show will be broadcasted exclusively on Amazon Prime at 8 p.m. ET for the second year in a row. The full show will be available to re-watch on Amazon Freevee the day after the live broadcast. Tickets for the 58th ACMs are available on SeatGeek now.
