Exclusive Premiere: October Rose "Missing Piece"

Premiering exclusively today on The Nash News, country duo October Rose shares their meaningful love song "Missing Piece."

With six years of partnership, performing, and recording together, the duo, made of Leanne Weiss and Derek Allan, is tying the knot this month in Nashville. "Missing Piece" was a special song made with their wedding in mind, written solely by the two.

“This is our wedding song, but we feel like this story isn’t just ours. I think a lot of other couples are going to relate to the words of this song and the triumph that comes with finding that special someone that you want to spend the rest of your life with,” shares Leanne in a press release.

“It’s been interesting to see all the love that we have gotten with our song ‘Heart Can’t Lie,’ which we never really expected being that it was the rawest production we’d done to date with just our voices and an acoustic guitar. To our surprise, people really latched on to the lyrics and connected with the story and we wanted our listeners to have a similar experience with ‘Missing Piece.’ We kept the production on this version simple so that our listeners could really absorb the emotional content, and if they so choose, use this for those special moments in their relationship where words alone aren’t enough,” says Derek.
