One of country music's favorite cowboys has released his brand new album, Mr. Saturday Night. This release comes on the heels of Pardi having the number one song on country radio with "Last Night Lonely."
"Little whiskey on the rocks / Brooks & Dunn on the box / Marlboro haze in the air," are the lines Pardi sings to kick off the electric track "Neon Light Speed." Again, the singer proves he might be the most successful at combining the old-school sound with today's need for hooks. "Fill 'Er Up" has the makings to be a timeless drinking song. The track could've been released 30 years ago, but it makes perfect sense for the current country genre people crave.
"Your Heart Or Mine" has a mysterious quality to it. Tension builds throughout the song thanks to the captivating rhythm. "Is it, your heart or mine / Is it whiskey or wine / Is it, something in the night / Making us wanna cross that line?" Pardi's heart continues to wander with "Santa Cruz." The reflective song looks back at a past romance with fond memories that happen to take place in the California city.

The days of honky tonks might not be over thanks to "New Place To Drink." As Hank Williams Sr. had done in the past, Pardi takes lyrics based on heartache and turns them into catchy, dance-worthy tunes. While "Reverse Cowgirl" might not make someone dance, the fear of a lonesome feeling still remains.
All in all, Mr. Saturday Night could be Pardi's most cohesive body of work to date. He brings a nostalgic air to his country exploration, and fans will love every minute of it.
