Jordan Davis "Next Thing You Know" Song Review

Jordan Davis released a new reflective song titled "Next Thing You Know." Heartfelt tracks are what Davis does best, and this new release can be added to the list.

This latest release comes on the heels of his previous song "What My World Spins Around," which came out in June. Davis hails from Louisiana and loves to bring all of his musical influences into his own sound. He released his wildly successful EP Buy Dirt last year and fans are surely eager to hear if he has a new project up his sleeve.

"Next Thing You Know" details the natural progression in which our lives will take us. When someone falls in love and wants the person to be with them in every step of the journey. Even when it's hard to admit someone could make all of your plans change, love proves to override all else.

"Telling your buddies, three months in, that she ain't moving in / Next thing you know there's a Uhaul trailer / Next thing you know, your old apartment is y'all's new place." Just as light and sweet as the lyrics seem, the sound feels the same way. Davis shines his brightest when he sings about his own life experiences, and this track is the perfect example.
