Jordan Rowe “More Me” Single Review

Rising Country singer-songwriter Jordan Rowe continues to strike the perfect balance of traditional and modern Country music with a sweet country love song reminiscent of the 90’s Country sounds that we know and love.

“More Me” is written by Corey Crowder, Cole Taylor, and Randy Montana, and was produced by Derek Wells. The upbeat country track almost guarantees you’ll be dancing just in time for the fiddle solo.

“More Me is a special song to me because it’s the first one I’m releasing under River House that I didn’t write. I think that speaks for the song in itself,” shares singer/songwriter Rowe. “I usually write 3-5 songs a week, but I heard ‘More Me’ and felt like exactly what I wanted to say as an artist. It fits me perfectly and I’m thankful to Cole, Randy, and Corey for letting me have it.”

The Georgia native starts the song with the details that define himself as a country boy who feels comfortable either in his hometown or hunting in the woods, but as the song goes on he reveals he feels most like himself when he is with the woman that he loves.

It’s hard not to smile when he sings “A little less me when we’re apart / a little more when you’re in my arms / I swear heaven is wherever you are.”

The sounds and subject-matter of “More Me” are cohesive with his latest single “Up To Something Country” which has us really looking forward to an EP in the near-future.

Rowe has that windows-down Country sound that is perfect for Summer and if you’re in the Southeast you can catch him on tour this Summer with Cody Johnson and Drew Parker.
