Justin Moore and Riley Green "Everybody Get Along" Song Review

Justin Moore and Riley Green have teamed up for a collaboration that country fans everywhere will be drawn too. "Everybody Get Along" sees two of the genre's most authentic acts sing an inspiring message.

Moore released his first duet last year with Priscilla Block titled "You, Me & Whiskey." He has been a constant in Nashville for over 15 years, releasing songs that reach the heart of his fans. His most recent No. 1 song "With A Woman You Love" reminded everyone why they love Moore. Green has seen his fair share of success as well. Currently touring with Luke Combs, Green has also won the hearts of many with songs like "I Wish Grandpas Never Died," and "There Was This Girl."

A song about wishing people would get along signals like it would be a ballad, until the listeners press play. "Everybody Get Along" has humor and plenty of interesting lyrics. The two singers take turns throughout the song, going back and forth about their differing likes and preferences. Moore and Green aim to prove that two people can find common ground on the bigger picture of life, and perhaps taking a lighter approach could work for people. "I like this and I like that / But when it comes down to it, we got each other's backs / In a world where all we do is fight and fuss and disagree / Why can't everybody get along like you and me?"

This track has the kind of tempo that would fit anyone wishing to have a good time. Moore and Green's voices suit the tune so well, it feels as if it was made for them. As they sing about wanting to look at life with a glass half full, they come across as old friends. For plenty of country fans, this song will serve as their new anthem.
