Kacey Musgraves and Reese Witherspoon Team Up for 'My Kind of Country'

Country superstar Kacey Musgraves and actress Reese Witherspoon have revealed a collaboration titled My Kind of Country: a new country music competition show coming to Apple TV+.

The duo, who are executive producers of the project, has teamed up with Mickey Guyton, Orville Peck, and Jimmie Allen who will act as talent scouts in the series. The goal of the show is to find diverse artists in the country music genre, shining a light on a group that often gets overlooked.

On Instagram, Guyton shared, "The beauty of Country music is that it can sound like so many different things and have so many different influences. I have a passion for sharing and discovering new voices and couldn't be more excited to be a part of the new @AppleTVPlus series #MyKindofCountry.

My Kind of Country will premiere on Friday, March 24th on Apple TV+.
