Kalsey Kulyk "Ain't Enough Whiskey" Song Review

Up-and-coming artist Kalsey Kulyk is ready to reach the next level upon the release of her new song, "Ain't Enough Whiskey." Out of all of her past music releases, this song possesses the sass and energy that will have people taking notice.

Kulyk hails from Canada, Saskatchewan to be exact. Kulyk was selected as a finalist for the Canadian Country Music Association’s Discovery Artist program and won Ole’s On the Spot competition. "Today, Kulyk resides in Nashville where the purpose behind her music is to touch the lives of others and to transform struggles into rejuvenation," per her website bio. Her catalog of music includes singles, "Bad Liar," "Who I Was," and "Not All Angels Can Fly." Kulyk's music can be summed up in one word: honest.

"Ain't Enough Whiskey" is all about embracing inner confidence. Kulyk sings from the perspective of wanting to do anything but take a certain guy back. The track is about moving on and realizing that one deserves better. "You did your damage, you took advantage / So whatever you're planning let me tell you something right now / There ain't enough whiskey in this bar."

This song has all the makings of a female anthem. Kulyk isn't coming from a place of sadness over matters of the heart, rather she is helping out anyone who has been through a rough time. The steady energy of the track makes it a hard one to turn off. It possesses a rock and a honky tonk sound all at the same time. It's easy to see that this would be a fiery song to perform for a live crowd.
