Kelsea Ballerini Performs Television Debut of "HEARTFIRST"

Singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini, co-host of the 2022 CMT Music Awards, performed the television debut of her newest track "HEARTFIRST" at the award ceremony being held in Nashville on Monday, April 11th.
Ballerini performed her uplifting tune from her backyard as she was diagnosed a few days before the show took place. She wore a glittery aquamarine dress that matched her stunning, bright blue makeup painted on her eyelids. She performed with a white acoustic guitar as her bands shadows appeared behind her; they were behind a thick curtain to prevent them from being close to her.
The performance was the true definition of the phrase, "The show must go on." Though Ballerini may not have wanted to kickstart her new musical era in this way, she did it gracefully.
