Lauren Davidson “Silver Linings” Song Review

Lauren Davidson has been releasing singles documenting her experience through the 2020 pandemic and giving us a snapshot of her life during lockdown. Like many others in creative fields, Davidson turned to Zoom for collaborative songwriting sessions and penned some rockin’ new songs. Most of the EP was done virtually, from Zoom songwriting sessions to online production, nothing can stop the power of music.

“Silver Linings” is the fourth single released off of Davidson’s upcoming EP titled Hindsight is 2020, joining “Thinking About You”, “Backfire”, and “Live in the Light”. This newest song is a reminder to stay positive throughout the toughest times and find your own “Silver Linings”.

Co-written with Clint Wells, Davidson’s newest single starts off with a catchy guitar riff and an invitation to drink a glass of champagne, the absolute best way to start a song. From there on, Davidson’s sweet vocals remind us to look on the bright side of the situation and keep moving towards that light. We are so excited to hear more from Lauren Davidson and are ecstatic for the release of her EP, Hindsight is 2020!
