Emerging singer-songwriter Logan Michael has released a brand new single titled "Lonely Like I Am." Ahead of its release, the song had garnered over 15,000 pre-saves.
Michael, like many rising artists around his age, is making a name for himself with the help of social media. His videos on TikTok grow more with each passing day. His previous songs that have earned praise include "Toxic Heart," "Leave Me Alone," and "She's Getting Married." Michael has even opened up shows for artists like Brantley Gilbert.
This track proves you can't always judge a book by its cover. Michael's surprisingly deep voice takes every word he says to a new level. He sings about heartbreak in a way that feels refreshingly vulnerable. The production seems effortless and allows for Michael's voice to take the listener on a journey of his trials and tribulations.

"Lonely Like I Am" is almost like the male version of Gabby Barrett's smash hit "I Hope." Every line allows fans to see the hurt Michael sings about. "I hope your new boyfriend goes and breaks your heart / I hope he, texts and drive and crash your car / I hope nothing goes the way you want it to / I hope a hole gets punched in your great big plan." With a release such as this one, Michael seems destined for higher ground.
