Luke Combs "The Kind of Love We Make" Song Review

Luke Combs has delivered another hit. After teasing fans and even performing the song during CMA Fest, Combs has released his track, "The Kind of Love We Make."

This release comes just one week before his third album, Growin' Up, is set to arrive. Combs has become one of the most sought after names in country music. From his first No. 1 with "Hurricane" to his most recent no.1 "Doin' This," Combs seems to never miss a beat.

"The Kind of Love We Make" has a groove that works in Combs' favor. While his songs about broken hearts and having a good time are always welcome, songs about how deeply he loves might make the most impact. With every line about wanting to be by someone's side, fans like to think they have a peak into his life with his wife Nicole.

"We've been burning / Both ends, keepin' the lights on / So I've been thinkin' / We need a little time alone / So what you say we cancel out plans / Tonight i'm only gonna be your man," sings Combs. By the time the chorus hits, it's easy to hang on to every word he sings. The roar of his voice also makes it easy to feel what he is saying. If every song on the upcoming album is like this, fans won't be left disappointed.
