Shania Twain Documentary Premieres on Netflix

Shania Twain is a force to be reckoned with in country music and beyond, so it's only fitting that she now has her own Netflix documentary. Shania Twain Not Just A Girl made its debut on the streaming platform today, July 26th.

The documentary gives fans a closer look at the woman behind the persona seen on stage. It will span her career that includes several No. 1 songs, high-grossing tours, and a genre-bending style that turned country music on its head.

In a press release, the film was described as"the story of a woman who wanted to make her own way, completely independent of anyone else; the story of an artist who took enormous risks." Special guests appear throughout the documentary who help to shed light on Twain's impact. Kelsea Ballerini, Lionel Ritchie, Diplo, Orville Peck, and Avril Lavigne are all part of telling Twain's story.

In addition to the documentary, Shania will release a compilation album entitled Not Just A Girl (The Highlights), which includes a new bonus title track, alongside some of her biggest hits in order of appearance in the documentary. Not Just A Girl (The Highlights) will also be available digitally today on July 26, with physical becoming available on September 2.
