Songs I Grew Up On with Landon Parker
Landon Parker plans to usher in a new era of honk-tonk country music. The North Carolina native originally moved to Nashville as part of a band before deciding to go solo. Parker has released songs such as "Beer By Beer," "Up For Anything," and "Your Baby Girl." The singer-songwriter shared the three songs that impacted him the most growing up, making him the musician he is today.
1. "Honeybee" by Blake Shelton
Parker got his start on social media by covering this hit song. He credits this Shelton track for giving him the confidence he needed to pursue music further.
2. "Second Chance" by Shine Down
"Me and my brother wore that CD out all over town," shares Parker. It's clear that this track increased his curiosity in music making.
3. "Just The Girl" by The Click Five
Parker and his cousin loved this song, listening to it just about every day. Some of Parker's favorite memories are attached to this song, including trying to build a fire out of sticks.
