Songs I Grew Up On with Levi Hummon

Levi Hummon seemed destined to have a career in country music. With his Dad being Marcus Hummon, a Grammy-winning songwriter, Hummon dove right into creating a name for himself. His songs "For Me," "Good Riddance," and "Drink On" have garnered mass appeal. Through high streaming numbers and touring, Hummon has developed a ranging fan base. He shared three songs he grew up on that influenced his own artistry.

1. "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley

The album this song is on was the first project Hummon listened to front to back. The melody and the lyrics are what stuck out most to him.

2. "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts

This song holds special meaning to the singer because his dad actually helped write it. Growing up in a musical family, these connections are even more important to him.

3. "No Woman, No Cry" by Bob Marley

The tune is nostalgic, but Hummon still listens to it all the time. He even had the chance to travel to Africa for a show where he performed this song, so there are plenty of memories attached to it.
