Tyler Hubbard "35's" Song Review

Tyler Hubbard is proving he has even more new music up his sleeve. The singer released "35's" in anticipation of an eventual full length solo project.

Hubbard is making waves an he ventures into his new found solo career. The single "5 Foot 9" gave a taste on what kind of music fans can expect from him. That song is currently climbing the charts on country radio and seems to have been added to every major playlist on streaming services. Hubbard has 19 No. 1 songs to his name already, but the sky is the limit for his solo career.

"35's" sees Hubbard teaming up once again with writer and producer Jordan Schmidt. Schmidt has aided the success of stars like Jason Aldean, Morgan Wallen, and of course Florida Georgia Line. “Sonically this song really gets me going and makes me wanna drive 100 miles an hour, but lyrically, it’s about living a life at a slower pace,” said Hubbard per press release.

This song speaks to feeling overwhelmed and not being able to enjoy life at its fullest. "Sometimes it’s hard to break away from everything I’m trying to accomplish and really slow down and appreciate the moments that are right in front of me, and this song is a good reminder," said Hubbard in a press release.

He sings lines"Make some time to kill / Kick it back and chill / Do a little more livin’ than gettin’ by / Burn a couple lights / Shoot a couple cans / Take a look at life." This single echoes Hubbard's contemporary country sound to a T.
