Tyler Hubbard 'Dancin' In The Country' EP Review

Tyler Hubbard shows he has more music up his sleeve with the release of Dancin' In the Country. This comes on the heels of the announcement that his new album will come out on January 27th, 2023.

Hubbard released his debut single "5 Foot 9" in May, and it is currently climbing the charts. He proved that he could continue the momentum he had while being part of the country duo Florida Georgia Line. The singer-songwriter co-wrote a majority of the duo's hit songs; and has written numerous widely known songs for other artists. Hubbard has also released "35's" and "Way Home" as he gears up to put out his first solo record.

Dancin' In The Country has the ability to put anyone in a great mood. He captures the feeling everyone hopes to have on a night out with the title track. It has an infectious groove and helps establish Hubbard's solo sound. While he shines bright on more reflective tracks, a song like this reminds people what they love about feel-good country music.

"I'm The Only One" expresses what true love is supposed to feel like. The tempo has a relaxing quality to it as he sings about loving the fact that he's the only one for his special someone. "Inside And Out" has a similar message. When he sings, "You're the sun in my sky / You're the sweet part of life / You go easy on the eyes / You're so beautiful," he says what every woman hopes to hear in a straightforward way.

Hubbard proves he has the party songs just as he's always had with "Everybody Needs A Bar." This song comes at the perfect time as summer comes to a close. Its sound is laid back enough for chilling on a boat, and electrifying enough for a party with friends. There is something for everyone on this EP, that only builds excitement for this upcoming LP.
