Undiscovered: 5 Kane Brown Songs We Know You'll Love

After rising to fame by posting covers of songs on social media platforms, Kane Brown has made a name for himself since 2015. In honor of this country music heart throb's birthday, here are five songs we know you’ll love.

1. "Pull It Off"

From the first album that made fans fall in love with him, Kane Brown (2016), “Pull It Off" is a song that will get stuck in your head instantly. The use of the electric guitar hooks listeners right off the bat. This was just a taste of what Brown had in store for albums to come.

2. "Grandaddy’s Chair"

Also from his debut effort, this beautiful tribute to his grandfather will have your heart filled in seconds. Brown shares through the lyrics of the song, backed by an acoustic guitar, how he hopes he's making his Grandad proud and tells stories of things they used to do together. “Quick to love and slow to anger / No you never met a stranger / I hope one day when you're looking down on me / I make you smile, I make you proud / I may not be there now / But I hope one day I'll be man enough to be sitting there, in my Granddaddy's chair” To end this emotional song he says “Rest in Peace, I love you Grandaddy.”

3. "For My Daughter"

This track is another emotional song from Brown. Many of our favorite songs have come from his 2019 LP Experiment Extended, and this one should not be overlooked. He talks about how he didn’t have a father growing up, but he is going to be the best one for his daughter; this ballad will fill your eyes with tears. “They say dads are supposed to shape you / In a way I guess mine did / I knew what I wouldn't do if I ever had a kid / They say history repeats itself / Well, I guess that's up to me / Yeah, I grew up without a dad / I'm gonna be the best one I can be.”

4. "Riot"

Just from the opening of “Riot” you will be convinced this song needs to be on your playlist if it isn’t already. The tune has a rock-country feel that is super unique, especially for Brown, making it a standout in his discography.

5. "BFE"

If you're looking for that perfect country song, “BFE” has that classic country sound that will make you want to throw those cowboy boots on and head to Broadway. BFE is a slang term used to describe somewhere in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what the song celebrates: people from a small town.
