Undiscovered: Five Jason Aldean Songs We Think You’ll Love

Rugged country star Jason Aldean was born on this day in Macon, Georgia in 1977. Aldean rose to the beginning of his stardom a little before the 2010’s signing with Broken Bow Records in 2005. During that record deal, he released 10 albums and 38 singles. His infamous tracks include, “Big Green Tractor,” “Burnin’ It Down,” and “You Make It Easy,” plus many more. To celebrate Aldean’s day, here are some of the songs you might’ve missed or old gems you haven’t thought of in a while.

1. “You’re the Love I Wanna Be In” from the album Jason Aldean (2005)

“I’ve kept my feelings under lock and key / Couldn’t let you see them even though it was killing me.”

2. “Keep the Girl” from the album Wide Open (2009)

“Like a sword with a double edge blade / It’s gonna cut deep, either way, / This little town that big old world / Chase the dream or keep the girl.”

3. “Wheels Rollin” from the album Night Train (2012)

“Here I go, down this road / Another town, another state / I wouldn’t have it any other way / All I want, is to sing my songs.”

4. “If My Truck Could Talk” from the album Old Boots, New Dirt (2014)

“If my truck could talk, I couldn’t deny a word it said / I’d just smile and shake my head, yeah.”

5. “After You” from the album After You (2021)

“And I’m just tryin’ to make some sense of it all / Lookin’ for answers on this old bar stool / Just tryin’ to figure out life after love / After leavin,’ after too much drinkin’, after you.”

Happy Birthday, Jason Aldean!
