Undiscovered: Five Luke Bryan Songs We Think You’ll Love

Country music has created its fair share of stars, and one of the brightest is Luke Bryan. The singer-songwriter began writing with Travis Tritt and Billy Currington before signing his record deal in 2007. Bryan now has 26 number one hits under his belt along with countless awards. The superstar can add television personality to his list of achievements as he is currently a judge on American Idol. In honor of his birthday today, here are five Luke Bryan songs you may have missed.

1. “What Country Is” is a laid-back song that speaks to all the reasons why Bryan loves being country.

“It ain’t a John Deere cap that’s never fell in the cotton, it’s a Jimmie Rodgers song that was long forgotten.”

2. “Way Way Back” was featured on Bryan’s 2015 album Kill The Lights.

“Find that no-name road cross those boxcar tracks where we used to go and lay it way, way, back.”

3. “Like You Say You Do” is a song about wanting to be with someone who isn’t with you and knowing they would be happier if they were.

“If you love her like you say you do, then why don’t you love her like you say you do.”

4. “Goodbye Girl” is from the platinum selling album Crash My Party.

“It might seem crazy to be loving you this way, but I’ll never bring myself to say goodbye, girl.”

5. “I Know You’re Gonna Be There” is from the 2011 album Tailgates & Tanlines.

“I know you’re gonna be there, I’m gonna have a couple drinks, just to knock off the edge.”

Happy birthday Luke Bryan!
