Top Country Music Bars in Louisiana

Louisiana is located in the true south; therefore, they have some of the greatest country bars of all time. To make your next visit easier, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite country bars in the heart of Louisiana.

1. Cowboys Nightclub

Located in Lafayette, Cowboys Nightclub is known as Acadiana’s Best Place to Dance. They offer a wide range of amenities but mainly specialize in their live performances. Every Friday and Saturday night, they offer live music from rising country artists. They also sell high-quality western equipment like boots, ropes, and even horse saddles. If you’re in the Lafayette area, be sure to check out this lively nightclub.

T’s Country Bar is a place that feels like home. The staff and service go above and beyond to welcome all who enter. The locals love the live music, karaoke, pool tables, and even slot machines. T’s offers special events like chili cook-offs and karaoke weekends. Located in Denham Springs, this homestyle bar is a must-visit.

3. Big Country

This two-story bar is like no other. Both levels are perfect for dancing the night away and enjoying some of their specialty drinks. Every Friday night, they offer live country music and free line dancing lessons. If you want to keep the party going after line dancing, head upstairs to find more live music from every genre. Big Country is known for its spacious dance floors, mechanical bull, and good times.

4. Cajun Country Lounge and Dancehall

In the heart of Church Point lies a dance hall that supports local upcoming artists. Cajun Country strives to keep genuine country culture alive and thriving. Every Sunday afternoon, they welcome new and local artists to perform. If you can’t attend on Sundays, no worries! They also offer other live performers Thursday, Friday, and Saturday as well. This spacious hometown establishment was made for true supporters of country music.

5. Squeaky Pete’s

Squeaky Pete’s claims to be the first and only country bar in downtown Baton Rouge. They host events every weekend, including football watch parties, brunch events, and live music. The events are amazing, but their food is better. You don’t want to miss their brisket mac and cheese and southwest egg rolls. Come see the only true country bar next time you’re in Baton Rouge.
