On The Verge: 4 New Country Releases

As every Friday passes, there are numerous songs that come out from independent country artists whose songs are well-written, beautiful, or simply fun. We’ve compiled a list of songs that were released last week by independent and rising acts that deserve much love and attention. Who knows, you might find your next favorite song.

1. "That Dog" by Caylee Hammack

Hammack proves yet again she is a singer-songwriter on the rise. Her artistic talents cannot be overstated.

2. "Didn't Do" by Spencer Crandall and Cooper Alan

This song was originally released off his Oct. 2022 album Western. Crandall has been breathing new life off the album’s original tracks for Western Reloaded. He decided to team up with Alan on this particular song. The two sound harmonious together as if they've sung together for years now. After one listens, it will surely leave a lasting impression.

3. Country Sugar by Julia Cole

Cole has delivered an album to sing out loud. There is a mix of fun, feel-good tracks as well as more emotive ones. She showcases her personality in nearly every song. As she often does through her presence on social media, Cole never fails in connecting with her listeners. This is an album worthy of everyone taking notice.

4. 23 Days In LA by Logan Crosby

Full of angst and heartbreak, Crosby aimed to take his fans on a journey with this EP. He brings his artistic vision to life by painting a picture of love gone wrong. In these five songs, Crosby writes about the chase and the hurt that comes with wanting to fight for someone who ends up walking away. His songwriting has never been more impactful than this project.
